Venago Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (“Venago”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) built the Octawire CRM application as a business productivity and customer relationship management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect user information when you use Octawire CRM.

By using Octawire CRM, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Octawire CRM may collect the following personal and business-related information:
Personal Information
- Full name

- Mobile number

- Address
-Profile image (from device gallery, if permitted)

App & Usage Information

- User role and access permissions
- Contacts, deals, notes, and task-related data entered by users
- Activity logs 
- Real time and scheduled notifications
 

Device Permissions
The app may request access to:

- Gallery (for uploading profile images)
- Phone dialer (for calling contacts)
- Email applications
- WhatsApp

Note: Octawire CRM does not access or store third-party app data.

 

2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:

- Authenticate users securely
- Enable CRM features such as contacts, deals, notes, and tasks
- Send real-time and scheduled notifications
- Activity tracking
- Enforce role-based access control
- Improve performance, security, and reliability

3. Authentication & Security

- User authentication is managed using AWS Cognito
- Secure tokens and user sessions are encrypted
- Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- All sensitive data is transmitted and stored using encryption and industry-standard security practices

4. Data Sharing & Access Control

- Data is shared only within the same organization
- Access is controlled by role-based permissions defined by administrators
- No personal data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes

5. Third-Party Services

Octawire CRM integrates trusted third-party services, including:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)
- AWS Cognito (authentication and token security)
These services comply with applicable data protection standards.

6. Children’s Privacy

Octawire CRM is not intended for users under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If such data is discovered, it will be removed immediately.

7. User Rights
Users have the right to:

- Access their personal data
- Request corrections
- Contact administrators for data-related concerns

8. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as required for business and operational purposes or as required by law.
